About Payment

Payment Options: Credit or E-transfer.

Insurance: If you have benefits, Registered Psychotherapists are frequently covered. Check with your insurance provider to find out the details of your coverage. After our appointment, I will provide you with a receipt that can be submitted to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

Programs:

There is funding available for certain groups of need that may not have access to other forms of insurance. We can work together to get you access to these programs to get full coverage for our sessions.

Currently, refugee claimants who are not yet covered by OHIP can be funded by the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) through Blue Cross Medavie.

If you live in Ontario and are First Nations or Inuit, and eligible for the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program, your sessions may be fully covered.

An advantage of my services, and private psychotherapy more generally, is that there doesn't have to be an end date to the counselling relationship. It is possible to work with the same therapist as you heal over time and move through the major milestones of life. However, sometimes free, short-term counselling could meet your needs best at this time. If this is the case, you could try your local community health centre, a referral from your doctor to the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) Program, or an organization like Family Services Toronto.
